Atletico want revenge on Recreativo

Atletico Madrid are looking for the victory against Recreativo. Another three points would see them on winning ways again after the draw against Real Madrid and mean that they stay as one of the top teams in the table. The rojiblanco team, under Javier Aguirre, also feel indebted to the fans and want to provide them with a clear victory. Recreativo is a team that has not been easy for Atletico in the last few years. In the first year in the second division, Atletico lost to them at home after an own goal from Juan Gómez. One year later recreativo knocked the rojiblanco team, at that time under Luis Aragonés, out of the Copa del Rey in the semi-finals. Now back in the top flight, Atletico Madrid is seeking revenge.
